A Little Extra Shower Storage

We have a small shower caddy hanging from the shower head, but it isn't large enough to hold all of our things. The rest found their home on the edge of the bathtub, which wasn't super convenient or visually appealing. I saw this idea (scroll down to shower storage) a while back and had it in the back of my head, but never actually got around to it. Then, the other day I was perusing the bathroom storage aisle at Target and saw this shower caddy that was actually designed to hang from a bar. It wouldn't require rigging it and it was only $10 (on sale). Score! Now all of our things are stored neatly in one spot.

Etsy Finds: Vintage Clocks

I thought I would do a roundup of vintage clocks after sharing my recent purchase yesterday in case I inspired anyone! Here are a few I found on Etsy that would be a fun addition to a room.

Time for a New Clock

Meet my new clock. I got it on Etsy. It's an old vintage GE telechron and it's new home will be in the kitchen. I haven't gotten it hung yet, but I think it will go well with the rest of the turquoise and yellow decor. I love having a few vintage pieces here and there in my decor. I think it adds a nice touch so everything isn't brand new and there's some history to it!

I Heart NY

So we went to New York about, oh, 2 months ago. I still haven't gone through and edited all of my photos down. I know, that's bad, right? Well, I thought I'd share a few and hopefully will get to the rest soon.

We flew in to LaGuardia and had a beautiful aerial view of Manhattan. It was my first view of the city and it was certainly a great welcome!

This is a view from the Empire Statue Building. I loved the clouds that day!

We saw Lady Liberty. We didn't go up, just walked around the base. I believe this was taken from the ferry.

Have I mentioned I'm a huge fan of Friends? This is the building that is shown as their apartment building. This was one of my favorite stops in Greenwich Village. It was in a great little neighborhood and it was fun walking around. If we go back, I want to spend more time in this area.

Serendipity is one of my favorite movies, so a stop here was a must. We actually got to eat at the table where the movie was filmed! Those frrrozen hot chocolates are good!

A view of Central Park from Top of the Rock.

We walked down Wall Street and saw the New York Stock Exchange. It's crazy to think of all the chaos that goes on inside there!

That's my quick preview of our trip. I have hundreds more photos. Don't worry, I won't share them all on here, but I will post a lot of them on flickr. I'll update here when I've narrowed down the rest if you're interested in looking through them. Stay tuned!

Happy Weekend!

I'm relieved this week is over! It was a very busy one. I hope you have a lovely weekend and get some time to do something that brings you joy! I get to see one of my good friends get married and reunite with friends at the wedding. I think it will be just what I need after a crazy week! Here's a few things I starred recently that tickled my fancy:

// New fonts from you work for them
// Joi's plate wall
// Colorful tree art
// Glace ice cream packaging
// Vintage Internet Ads
// This quote about home design for the future tenant
